Just a quick note to tell you you're not imagining things. You (and I) are now on lincolnblack.com. lincolnblack.cc will continue to redirect here, and my existing .cc email will continue to work.

In a funny-but-not kind of way, I actually owned the lincolnblack.com domain years ago. Like, 20 years ago. But after a long enough time of not using it I decided to let it slip. Of course life is not without its irony. If I knew I would end up wanting to do design consulting under my own name, I would have hung onto it.

When I went back to re-register it, alas it was being squatted on by a Chinese registrar who wanted US$2500 for it. As tempting as such a good deal is, that's why I ended up going with lincolnblack.cc instead.

Patience pays off. For more than a year I kept an eye on the expiry and nabbed it as soon as it became free. Lincolnblack.com has actually been redirecting to lincolnblack.cc for a little while now, but it's time to switch it over in preparation for the eventual website refresh.

For now it continues to be business as usual.
